The GIS section of the eThekwini Municipality has, over the last decade, gathered and maintained a substantial 150 layer Geographic Information System which includes property details, Servitudes and  Leases, Land Use and zoning information, facilities and landmarks such as Museums, Fire stations, Cemeteries, Libraries, rivers and aerial photographs.

While policies and infrastructure are currently being developed prior to allowing online, realtime access, we are able to offer you a pilot project view of the interactive access proposed, to the GIS system.
